Family Violence Restraining Order avoided
Our client was granted an Interim FVRO against their former partner, who had also been granted an Interim FVRO against our client.
We reviewed the material and noted the risks in a finding of ‘family violence’ being made against our client due to the significant evidence that her former partner was due to give at a Trial which was not able to be rebutted.

We successfully negotiated with the former partner’s lawyers to resolve the matter by way of mutual Conduct Agreement Orders, which avoided our client receiving a formal finding of ‘family violence’ that may have impacted associated Family Court of WA proceedings and yet still retained the protection that they had sought from the Interim FVRO.
